Final UFC on Versus 2 card

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s second card to air on the Versus network is now official. The promotion confirmed today 11 fights that are set for August 1 in San Diego, California. The event was originally scheduled to be held in Salt Lake City, but as Heavy.com first reported, the event was moved to San Diego due to poor ticket sales. The card is headlined by a familiar face for “UFC on Versus” events, as Jon Jones, who was featured in the main event of “UFC on Versus 1″, will take on Vladimir Matyushenko in the light heavyweight division. The card, which will be televised on Versus, also includes fights between middleweight Mark Munoz and Yushin Okami and lightweights Takanori Gomi and Tyson Griffin.
